New subscriber and home soap maker. I recently started making cold process because they seem prettier to me. I have a tough time waiting a month or longer for the cure to set. I think I will have to practice my patience and start making pretty soaps, like yours! I just put a freshly cut batch of turmeric ginger swirl in the cupboard so I don't fiddle with it, and put it on my phone calendar. Looking forward to seeing more batches!

Wow I’ve been making rainbow soaps all week I’ll send you a pic too I am so loving the bright rainbow colors I used neon white for the first time ever so I’m so excited to cut mine soon I’ve been letting mine set 3 days I keep getting drag marks on my soap when I cut it I cut mine my hand your soaps look beautiful

I LOVE MAD MICAS, they are the only company I have used in the last 6 years. I've found that they are the most concentrated colors out there! They almost never fade and I can rely on the fact that they will always look the same. When I first started soaping 12 years ago, I bought from whoever was running a sale or who was convenient atthe moment. However, I've learned that having reliability from a company is really important to me. I love the smell of pink grapefruit too, that and cherry lemonaid. There both in my fruity range frequently, lol! Holly, I hope you've had a wonderful week! I look forward to the next video too. You mentioned Mad Oils. I live in Arizona and can drive 20 minutes to the Arizona Soap Supply store where they sell them. One of my all time favorite scents from them is the Snow Witch. It's such an amazing Christmas scent.

I use some sodium lactate to help make a harder batch. Other than that, those loaves had sat for about 3 weeks before I was able to film the video.

Hi, what can you cure hot process soap on? I only have aluminum foil.

Aluminum and handmade soap don't get along. Freezer paper is what we typically use.

Is there a fragrance oil out there that you simply won’t use due to it’s intense acceleration?

Usually, I can just find a different supplier if there is a particular fragrance that I struggle with the first time. I did a lavender peach once that was the worst ever. The next would be apple cinnamon fragrances or ocean fragrances. There is usually a work around though.
