Hey Dan just wanted to say thank you for sharing the knowledge I started building bows right before Christmas and since I’ve lost count on broken bows and ruined staves it’s around 40 I think and I think 5 are good bows efficient and hunt worthy 50- 60 lbs but anyways I just wanted to say thanks I watch your videos a lot. I don’t ask many questions as I’d like to, but I just learned by doing it but thanks to you another guys sharing the knowledge it helped a lot anyway take care man make them bend.

Since I was like 12, I've always wanted to make a good bow, but I never had enough info/instruments/instructions etc. Now I'm 17, and with your videos I finally made something close to a normal maple bow. Music, and the whole work on your videos is straight up magnificent, thank you 🌹

Dan. One day I will buy a hand made bow and a bunch of arrows from you. In the meantime, I am re-inspired and in complete admiration for your tool rests (like the chisels rest). I love the organic form and flow. And now with a couple of "chicken of the woods" whatever they are called fungi. What a brilliant idea!

Beautiful arrows, beautiful sounds. I'm currently working on another set of arrows and endeavouring to keep a short bow alive, steaming has been a great help. Good practise for the recurve bow I shall make in due course.

I have had it with a few of my current recurve projects! It can be such a hassle to get the tips aligned, especially with character wood

@@DanSantanaBows In that case I'd better do it eventually, perhaps. :-)

Dan a video of how you built your bench top shaving vise would be very helpful. Have you already made one? If not, would you?

Hello Dan, why that fletching looks different, whats the use of fletching in this way??
@DanSantanaBows6 ай бұрын
They’re larger because i don’t need much range and wanted arrows that are easier to see on video. They look different from target, hunting, or competition flight arrows because they’re for recreational aerial shooting
