Beautiful job. One suggestion... You might add a structural bracket to your L section and the Square Stock. I believe the weld on the L section where the cutting wheel is may eventually give you some design trouble due to vibration while cutting. I do not believe it would have to be significantly robust, but enough to give you some insurance to prevent a failure on that 90 degree corner directly behind the cutter.

You can make a handheld version that works very well for chipping away small stumps-even into the ground, also removing brush in overgrown areas as well as edging overgrown pavement. You convert a handheld "edger" like a Redmax brand (they usually have a 1:3 gear ratio head-32cc engine is good) You then fashion a metal gaurd and a custom mount for a carbide tooth table saw blade. It works fantastic for many property cleanup purposes. I used one professionally for just those purposes for 10 years and only went through a few blades-they are exceedingly durable

Tree stumps in Poland are *no longer safe* if they're anywhere near Derek. 😁 Your builds never disappoint and are always worthy of a 👍 God bless. Btw; I've watched many videos like this and always wondered if it's possible to mount a skidsteer drive motor onto a frame to power a modified forestry mulcher head [drum]. One reduced in width to approx 10-16in and converted to either belt, chain or shaft drive. Because of its weight use the track drive from a snow blower. Sketchy idea yes; but.... ;)
