It's a great tasting drink from a great fruit. It's too bad it's not well know outside of its native Brazil.

Maybe instead of sugar you could try a cool powder like baobab, lucuma, goji, or pomegranate... or maybe even hemp/pea protein. Or maybe you could cut it with maple water, coconut water, or another juice.

Joel, that looks as tasty as the jam. The color is similar to strawberry or cherry juice.

Yeah, it's bright red juice, while the jelly is dark purple. My mom tried the juice and said it's the best juice she ever had! It has that same jaboticaba "grape/cherry" flavor. The fruit is well-known in Brazil, but not really anywhere else, which is surprising considering how good it tastes. I guess they also use it for making wine (I'll have to try that next time)!
