Those look amazeballs mate. I'll get one for sure after I get off fkn covid wages and back to normal. Meantime - is it easy to adapt the plans to make just one instead of five hundred of them? 🤣
@kuffyswoodwork
@kuffyswoodwork 3 жыл бұрын
The plans work just as for a single mallet as they do for 500 mallets. If I was just making one, I wouldn't go overboard on making specific jigs for one or two cuts. I'd just fudge my way all the through to "get it done".

Do you find the Jarrah handles jar at all? I remember making one as a kid and my arm was dead by the end of a days use.
@kuffyswoodwork
@kuffyswoodwork 3 жыл бұрын
No, not at all. I've found the way the head is shaped, it simply transfers all of that power/momentum into the chisel. My wrist simply stops moving as the mallet strikes the chisel. It gives a really sweet, definite blow which can be easily controlled by hitting hard or soft as the situation will require.
