Love the rawness of these videos. You’re totally right, it gives a better sense of how much work these projects are. Its impressive the amount of work you get done in that tiny garage and workbench.

Watched the whole thing cuz I bought a e46 wagon 2 months ago. Beeeeeen wrenchin on that thing. Front control arm bushings, engine/trans mounts, oil filter housing, coolant leaks, fuel injectors leak fixed, about to replace clutch/flywheel, replacing struts/shocks, needs speakers. Just gonna be a “stanced-ish daily.” Famous last words.

Aye Joel if you feel that the car after you put a few hundred miles on it starts feeling kinda loose in the back then don’t break your head over it my guy cause it’s them trailing arm bushings. I went through that with my E36 so you know… just trying to save you some headache. Love your videos tho. Keep up the amazing work you’re doing man!

33:50 check your drive roller. It might need more spring tent Jon or a replacement roller. They have different sizes and types for specific wire. Smooth for solid and knurled for flux. Make sure your roller is the right size for your wire diameter.

Next time you hit the bushings out of the subframe, use 2 hammers, one stacked on the bushing and the other hits the hammer (this way you won't damage your subframe).
