Careful everyone! MDF board is incredibly toxic to sand and cut - it's basically talcum powder-esque sawdust held together with glue and formaldehyde. Use a respirator and cut/sand outside. You will need to throw your clothes in the wash afterward, believe me.

Those palm trees and bases came out great! Brilliant use of the black wash for shadow, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone use oatmeal for ground cover. I've been making terrain for a long time and you always show me something new. Keep up the good work.

Hey, I know I’m way late here, but as a frequent eater of oats here, wanted to clue you into sizes of oats. Quick oats are smaller than old fashioned oats. Something they do for faster cooking. Just pointing this out so you can have some visual variety in your oat crafts ^_^

Hey can you explain what dry brushing is exactly I get the idea but I don’t fully understand how to do it
@FrankyDCrafter5 жыл бұрын
That1 drd dry brushing is when you get most of the paint off your brunch, and then you brush off the remaining paint on the craft. It makes it so that your color only hits the higher details. It’s super useful.

you do all this run a channel and work 10 hour shifts WOW! I'm not a fan of MDF this can warp too if you are not careful I use Hard board which I modge podge the hell out of, or the plastic lid and the bottoms of ice cream tubs, I use filler or das for the ground too so it makes the bases quite sturdy. another problem with MDF is that it can be troublesome using super glue on it. I think someone has already pointed out the problems of sanding it. I'm asthmatic I avoid anything that triggers it I even avoid strong glues with odors
@FrankyDCrafter5 жыл бұрын
Andrew Tate yea, I wasn’t aware, but I have used das for basing it polymorph and I loved it. I wish I knew they warped too. 😭

I made sure to seal it well enough. Just make sure to use mod podge mix to seal it before you paint it. I'll have to Keep an eye on that.
