Thanks! If you want to replicate this in Unity, I suggest you look into applying the shader concepts (eg. fading with Z direction) using Unity's shaderlab on a static mesh (just an unanimated ribbon), then applying a vertex shader to create those distortions. In general, I don't think you can export animations like this that depend on modifiers in Blender since they just don't carry over, so you probably won't be able to directly export it over to Unity.
