❤️Thank you so much for making this video. I was just told I have severe arthritis on my knee and I have to make a decision, so this really helped me. I entered in shock when the doctor informed me. It’s like I was in a dream, then I started crying as soon as I exit the MD office, so now I’m here like crazy surfing the Internet for answers and to get some knowledge on what I will go through soon. I really appreciate it❤️❤️

Just got my second TKR. The first 3 weeks this time has been sooooo difficult…. ESPECIALLY the digestive challenges from the pain meds …… however… now in week 5 …. My decision was good. I want my quality of life back. My life has been always in sports; downhill skiing especially since childhood…. However… our joints wear out. Life. Accept aging and defy it as best we can. ⭐️

I was also told I need total knee replacement a few weeks back. Instead of surgery I bought a BREG Polar Care Cube ice machine. Instead of buying ice for it daily I took 8 water bottles, removed the paper with care and froze it. I use 4 at a time, plus water and a bit of ice to get it to level it has to be. NO drugs. I do 20 min a time as often as I can 4-5 times a day. The ice machine really helps. Besides that I knew it before the doctor told me that I should walk more. I started walking too. Plus I have an old stationary bike in the kitchen. When the doctor recommended surgery and printed out a page of *possible* side effects, I said NO to surgery. The implant also weights about 1 lb. and I did not like that either. Even if I have one side effect, that could do more harm then the good of the surgery. Plus the doctor told me he can't straiten out my bow leg. I will not have knee replacement surgery.

I had a partial knee replacement two months ago. Worst thing I ever did and the best thing I ever did. The first two months were the worst I am now at week nine and just about over the pain hump and can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am now starting to appreciate the fact that I can walk without pain! I still have some swelling and that will happen for a long time but I think I made the right decision. I could barely walk 10 minutes before and now I can walk as long as I want. It worked for me
