When you talk about the energy lifting at the end of your period, I totally relate! I love that gentle rise. And you're so right about creating boundaries - when we create boundaries, then our bodies can flow!

I love being able to be in tune with by body during my period and I love that I have a cup to use. It seriously makes everything so much more comfortable and easy. I try to take time for myself and say no to social events that I know I won’t enjoy. Thanks for this video! You inspire so many people girl. And congrats on baby Lincoln!

Thank you for this video series. As for my period, I enjoy the fresh start and the forced slowing down. I usually take a daily long bath and sit more. And I have my follicular phase to look forward to!

I like when my period starts when I think it should have because that means I was correct about when I ovulated.

I love my period because I get to use my cups and my cloth pads, to wear more comfortable and loose clothes. It also symbolises the end of my emotional instability as I have PMDD. I trade out emotional symptoms for more physical symptoms like tiredness and being quieter than usual etc. I love period naps!

@@CycleCoachAcademy I have PMDD, a severe version of PMS and I get symptoms from the point of ovulation onwards

Yes, love this! I'm 32 and only just got diagnosed with endometriosis. My pain was debillitating every month so I would be so exhausted and it would take all month to recover. Just got the laparascopic surgery and it was really not bad at all! To anyone suffering from extreme period pain, it is not something you should have to endure! Ask to be referred to a gynocologist who specializes in endometriosis and do you own research on doctors if you have to! It's so worth it

Plant based eating and switching to a menstrual cup have been the biggest game changers for my period. I seriously look forward to my period instead of dreading it now.

@@CycleCoachAcademy I am fully plant-based, yes! I was vegetarian for the better part of 15 years and have been fully vegan for about 3 :) How about you? Are you plant-based/plant-curious at all?

@@zergisnotop Losing your period absolutely can happen when going vegan, and I do agree that it is a lack of nutrition. However, I respectfully disagree that it is from a lack of nutrition from animal products specifically. Many people make the beginners mistake of simply cuting out animal products when going plant based. To have balanced vegan nutrition and better ensure you're able to maintain a healthy period, you need to make sure to eat enough calories from a variety of plant based sources like whole grains, nuts, seeds, beans, vegetables and fruits. Of course it's best practice to consult a physician and/or dietician with any questions or concerns. I am not either of those things, I'm just a passionate person with anecdotal experience.
