I've been absolutely loving the armor builds, especially with the leather working experience you're gaining. I'm just wondering, now that you've got most of your upper body armor, are you planning on any leg armor? Something like those old armored shin guards and the armored skirt?

Shin and Head protection are probably more important at this level of protection. Chest cavity protection is good against guns but in a melee you are more vulnerable at the heads and lower legs.

Sixteen guage mild steel plate would be more than enough to stop anything that isn't coming out of a gun, but the untreated leather wouldn't give much protection against say, a man with a knife and a bone to pick with you. I guess if you have sufficient padding underneath it wouldn't be the end of the world, but it would've been a pretty bad day.
@jamesallred4602 жыл бұрын
