Making the Turbo 172 Cup More ‘OEM’ - Part 1

Another update on the turbo 172 Cup.
This time, we're making the car more 'OEM', which between me and you involves removing some of the parts that I've fitted most recently and also giving the car a little bit of TLC and rest bite from being my daily driver.
In this video, we remove the steering wheel and a few other parts to get to the oil cooler and filter. In the next video, which will be posted next week, we'll clean and detail the engine bay and prep the car to be sold.
The cup will be going to a new home, to make way for another exciting project.

It gets used a fair bit, but I’ve owned a Cup for the best part of 10 years now. Feeling like it’s time for a change.

My thoughts too 😂😂. Thankfully all was ok. Yes it will be, but feels like the right time for a change. The R26 will be staying for some time yet (hopefully)
