This was great to watch. And amazing how one little conversation can unravel a mountain of ego and negativity. All it takes is to talk about something, and all of a sudden the person you thought was your enemy turns out to be a strong friend. I think most people have experienced this at some point in their lives.

In fairness, it would be a bigger surprise if it went the other way. I mean if you’re a doctor, you’re smart. You can’t be stupid and be a doctor. It doesn’t work. You literally have to be a genius to even get accepted to medical school in the first place much less graduate and get licensed to practice so we’re not dealing with Internet dorks so that’s probably a large part of it.

@@tigernotwoods914 > You can’t be stupid and be a doctor. It doesn’t work. You need to meet more doctors. Also, just because someone is intelligent, it doesn't mean they're good at personal relationships. Smart people can be just as dumb as the rest of us. Even more, sometimes, because they're prone to think that their knowledge about one thing translates to everything in life.

@maleldil1 Sadly now that we have these supplement scams and miracle potions, it might actually be possible to be a stupid doctor. Maybe not a practicing doctor, but I can't say I believe what you say after seeing all this stuff on the internet

The weird thing is like, react is usually driven by the audience. So obviously reactors in the same space are going to react to the same things because they've got the same audience who want to see different reactions to their favourite things. I accept it took me a while to realise that as I was very lost in the sauce on the whole react meta, so I can understand where you're both coming from on that point.

Well evolutionary we are inclined to negative energy so in general people are more prone to watching negative stuff. I am not generalising (as there might be people who value positive stuff) but I think the majority of people will watch the media which has negativity attached to it. This is the sad reality of our existence. But who knows what the next evolutionary step is. It might move us towards a stage where positivity is more prone to be digested.

I don't understand the whole drama? I mean yeah, you're both doctors but you're different people and have different styles and personalities, and thus have different opinions and even if some are similar, it's good there are more voices spreading facts and correcting missinformation. and ofc you're both based in different countries with different medical practicies and attitudes and outlooks on stuff. and well different expiriences. Like, even with paitents and types of stuff people come in. In UK, I imagine people don't come in with gunshot wounds as often as they would in US. I'm subscribed to BOTH of you, and I enjoy the content from the both of you.

drama wasnt really between them, it was more due to the audience. Dr. Ed was doing react video's way before DRMike, but because Dr Mike was getting more views people thought he was the one who started them so they started attacking Dr Ed and accusing him of copying Dr Mike. it's stupid typical internet drama, and these two grown men took the right approach and discussed it rather than try fight it out in video posts attacking each other, they just spoke to each other got the other side of the conversation and dealt with it like rational men. perfect example on how people should be have, not feeding into the drama for views, just disguising it and clearing the air.
