Is it smart to remove the existing insulation and replace it with spray foam or maybe blue Jean fiber insulation. Once I removed the inner door panel to remove old gasket I noticed that the insulation was wet form using it for the last 4 weeks. I think it’s a 1951 General Electric.

@@Vintage55Restorations Just to clarify, you're saying to replace the old glass-fiber insulation with new and fresh rock wool? Currently working on an Electrolux from 1963 and the old insulation is quite stinky from years in a basement. Love your videos, hope to see more! Cheers from Sweden.
