This maybe just folklore or a story only but it refers to social situations of that time. The fact that Vararuchi, a Brahmin, married Panchami, a Pulaya girl and had a good marriage of equals is the best part of the story. Panchami is defined by her brilliant mind, beauty and devotion to her husband. Vararuchi is defined by his love for his wife and determination to protect her from any social stigma by moving around the land. Their children were raised by different jatis and became icons themselves.

The best part of the story is Vararuchi explaining the meaning of that sloka, the most beautiful lines of the Ramayana. The wife, caste, religion-everything is secondary. That's okay. It can change from person to person. The content from Aitheehyamala is not a part of history. There is no historical evidence that such a character existed. We can't mislead our audience, which is why we included the disclaimer. Also, the word "story" doesn't necessarily mean fiction. It can be real or not. Our audience should be aware that we are not the authority to verify the factual evidence of the story.
