What is the source for Vararuchi asking King to kill the little baby? Why bring up such divisive embellishments to a great story? The best part of the story is that when Vararuchi discovered his wife, Panchami, was a lower caste, he did not abandon her or kill her. He stayed married and had 12 children and traveled around the country with his wife. They were a devoted couple. That is the beauty of that story!
