My family plant this herb which comes many names: green chiretta, king of bitters, chuan xin lian, etc. In Malaysia, it's commonly known as Hempedu Bumi (Malay).

The pods will burst when dry enough in order to spread its seed. My mum also used to sun dry those and they popped like crazy when the time is right.

Yes, very true.... Some of the best antibiotics, antivirals and antifungals(minus the side-effects) like Garlic, Turmeric, Ginger, Black pepper, etc are in your Kitchen. I think scattering the mature seed would be enough. But actually we never regrow the seed. It grows too much by itself that we sometimes have to get rid of it!
