Two days and with 2 different food environment at Bandar Puteri makes this a great place for this food haunt episode. From restaurants like house of Petai to single food hawker stalls serving hot piping and yet with its own uniqueness flavors ( eg. Cha Leung , woh dip ) makes this all worthwhile. Thank you to Elmo and also to Danny for this 2 days of amazing finds and introducing worthwhile restaurants and stalls to try. I can’t help but had another round to view this Bandar Puteri food haunt to capture the ✅ value tasty food to go the next time when I’m in KL. Always a Yatt Lau & Mou Tak Deng episode from Elmo and friend(s). 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

totally agree. The hawker prices are just going up like crazy. Now the proper shop prices have little difference between them. Sometimes, I'd rather go eat in a proper shop rather than hawkers. Good job on the video Elmo. Actually there's a hidden hakka mee gem in puchong which not a lot of people would know. It's one of the best (if not the best) hakka mee I ever ate. 😋

Too true! We can avoid unnecessary spendings but not on food, particularly our favorites! Traveled to Ipoh and Kampar just recently, so many tantalizing foods can be found in both places, simply irresistible despite prices of food now is skyrocketed versus those days. Used to own a house in Puchong Utama but sold it off about 15 years ago, a bit regret though.

Like this episode so much... This is in fact the problem in Malaysia.... especially in Chinese hawker... all sort of excuse... in fact.... they raise from time to time too.... sometimes even funnier... when gov just announce somethin gonna raise.. not yet started... just announce... they already raise once... then whenn the announced date arrived... they raise again..... bla bla bla... onli chinese do like this... of coz mamak/malay food also raise alot compare dulu... but if u think about it.... they just rarely raise.... and once they raise, usualy stay that price for quite a long period till they cant tahan baru raise again....

To be honest Chinese is stupid consumer. Always help to find excuse why the market price increased.😂like they liked to be rob.

Another salivating foodie video from the maestro Elmo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yeah. By the way, in Puchong, certain kopitiams will charge differently for Chap Fan. One in Bandar Puteri charged me RM8.50 while another opposite Pusat Bandar Puchong LRT station would have me paid RM13. What a difference

The costs of raw materials has all gone up, sadly tis is also the time for the shopkeepers to make an excuse to raise prices unnecessary

Excellent observation of the current scenario of food providers in Klang valley. Really, on top of the exorbitant price hawkers charge there days, they've also reduce ingredients in their food. I mean, what does it take to live here? I find fresh meat and produce have big reduction in prices already recently. Are these hawkers going to reduce their prices as well?
@malaysiafood328 Жыл бұрын
Once the prices go up theres no coming down regardless of whether ingredients price reduction

Uncle, if u r running out of idea, suggest u can consider to do a crossover with other food youtuber like Tommy or 昌少。。。I agree on what u said. Nowadays kopitiam is kind of overprice... That's why you see in my area McD, during their bfast hour, is super crowded... As the price is not much different... Plus McD Is clean n with air con
