i wonder if elephant seals gain any pleasure out of sex just like us humans do, also, i thought i have heard that according to scientific research, its estimate that the vast majority, like more than half of adult males die virgins, never get to mate even once.

I hope not although I heard so too. So the alpha males and the lieutenant have right to mate. The sneakers sneak to seize opportunity. I believe there are some who don't mate. I went to a beach near by during breeding season and saw some males (only) basically resting. Elephant seals have weird social behaviors, don't they? Good that they are doing well.

@@initiatorhater0688 I did see females enjoy it sometimes (most of the time they squirm and protest). I guess when the females are ready, there bodies accept the males. For this sense I believe it's similar to human's behavior.
