I kind of can relate to the second segment.. I had been in a relationship for three years and it all came to an end after a disastrous trip to visit my now ex girlfriend in Colorado and I nearly died when her stepdad crashed his car into a wall en route to her house in Colorado Springs, i ended up in a hospital for a day and then got sick a few days later due to the deplorable conditions in her house. The relationship never recovered after that and a month or two later I broke up with her and this destroyed any hope of any future relationships for me.

I get that a lot, I hate the fact that many people think all Asians are Chinese. Story #2 I'll be honest, doesn't sound like a serial dater to me, but if the friends really are bothered by being friends with someone that they deem a serial dater, and don't want to listen about the aftermath, why are they even friends? I was a serial dater once in my life, and most of my friends were fine with it, and would help be thru bad break ups, while I had a couple people stop being friends with me since they didn't like I hopped partners often.
