Reversing it is difficult because of the double hinge, although most farmers I've met are incredible at this. I suppose he didn't want to get the hay/straw wet, but I'd expect him to be local, so should know.

That’s why in some countries dash cams are banned. When filming even in the uk one has to be careful. Security filming comes with certain laws. One has to respect each others privacy.
