Hi! I'm a male sufferer of pelvic pain. Your yoga videos and interviews are the best resource on pelvic pain I've ever seen.

That's amazing feedback, thank you Rory! I'm assuming you've seen this, but just in case... Here's my complete playlist dedicated to men's health: kzbin.info/aero/PLDputRBPsHFS-Lyuh0f9KvKwsADA-QpiB

I appreciate this video. I also think an important thing to mention that there is an, unfortunate, huge lack of information for men when it comes to Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. As well, many female physiotherapists will not treat men, whether due to a lack of understanding or discomfort in dealing with the male body. When i first found out that my pain was not due to an infection or epididimytis, the only things I found online when i was told about PFD was post pregnancy articles lol. I have since thankfully due to videos and articles like this on, been able to find info for men :)

Agreed! There is a definite lack of awareness around men's pelvic health issues. Be sure to explore Karl's site (link in the video notes) as he has some fantastic info on his blog and offers remote/Skype consultations as well. All my best to you!

You might also check out Dr. Susie Gronsky, PT (do a google search) --- she's a colleague who specializes in male PFD. Good luck!

The root cause of pelvic floor issues is anxiety and stress. Working on the mental aspect is huge. Due to how long you’ve been dealing with it you still have tensed muscles. Mental part alone will not fix it. You still need to release the muscles. A lot of the physical therapists are bullshit and that’s just the facts. Therawand is a good thing to do to release the trigger points. Once you get in a better mindset and out of the negative outlook. After releasing the muscle you will not clench anymore due to anxiety and stress. It’s upsetting people haven’t gathered this yet and people like me have suffered for years .

That is great!

I believe that a lot of more people will get better by quick diagnoses, and a good explaining about cpps by your doctor. Then people don't have to freak out for years and that's a lot of tension!

I have had pd or chronic pelvic pain for over 17 years. I have read "The way out " by Alan Gordon l am now trying neuroplasticity after spending over $60,000.00 on prp, botox and pulse pulse radiofrequency. Do you have any advise fof me and someone who is a pelvic floor specialist in Washington State southwest like Olympia. I had a pelvic floor specialist and just kept me in pain for around 8 fays after. I am looking for a person who is a pelvic floor specialist that you might recommend me to

Hi jhon wick, I definitely recommend seeking care from a pelvic health physiotherapist (pelvic floor specialist) in your area.

The biggest problem is that doctors don't know nothing about cpps, people are in hell for years before they know what's going on.... This condition is bad, but after years of don't knowing what's wrong, your mental state is in a dark place... That's unnecessary suffering....
