"Consume me. Go for it." Yeah, I felt that hahaha. I was so mesmerized when I first saw her second phase cut scene. Those butterflies are everything. And she is... Ugh. The voice actress is incredible. The fight is amazing, I wish I could replay it whenever I feel like it. I never want to skip ahead on your videos and I never do, but here, it took all of my mental strength not to do it. But I succeeded and it was completely worth it! Your reactions were everything I could have hoped for and you handled your first attempts like a true champion. She has met her match.

This was great to watch, everything I anticipated it would be after so much buildup. You beat her a lot quicker than I did, so props! Was so satisfying to see Destined Death lay her out flat so many times. A well-deserved victory!

It's officially (as of now) the most I've died to a From boss in a 1st play (RIP Margit). I may have been stubborn with the (somewhat) brute force Destined Death approach, but like you said, it was just so satisfying to knock her on her butt so many times!

2:23:28 Placidusax's ruin doesnt do a lot of damage, but has actually pretty good stance damage which is why you were able to get the stagger here

Absolutely. I tried a few different builds because ER was my first souls game. I was feeling kind of confident and was humbled really quick. I think Blasphemous Blade did it for me, but could have been Bloodhound's Fang. I hate how much I grew to love this fight by the end. We need a boss rush mode.

after getting platinum in Elden ring i went back to Malenia and experimented with my mimic tear summons to get it to solo Malenia, only staying close enough to the fight to keep my mimic attacking her. I did nothing to help my mimic, it is all in the setup and manage to get the mimic to beat her all the way up to NG+5. Learned a few new tactics since then so may try NG+7 at some later point. just a fun little side challenge for no reason. This game is soo good. Oh, and Grats on your Victory, excellent gaming.

GAMEPLAY SUGGESTION BELOW Since you used another characters to revisit Shabriri in the Mountaintops and catch some missing dialogue, I'd suggest you do the same with Gowry. You need to visit him just before getting the choice to assist or challenge Milicent. It'll give some extra dialogue as well. Which hopefully will make it more clear why Milicent decides to die and why we even have the choice to assist OR challenge her.

I know you've already killed her but a trick I used during my fight with her is that I used the destined death incantation that you get from Maliketh until she did her waterfowl and after she was finished only then I went in and did physics R2s to stagger and when she did get staggered I did the L2 move of Maliketh's blade

It’s actually shocking from someone who played all the other souls game to play like a noob trying to cheese every boss in ER. I have never seen u fight a boss with pure male, for the fact that u love Sekiro and never used male in ER. The dlc bosses will heavily punish you for that fact

Pure melee builds are just one option my guy, it's an rpg? You can literally play however you want. If YOUR role play is a straightsword wielding melee only build then good for you, it's one of HUNDREDS of ways to enjoy the game.
