Your return of the keys remind me of a phone I dug up. Not as a end of a good story except for the kid who lost it. He lived 60-70 miles from us but apparently had told his mother phone was stolen at a school basketball game. The truth was he was here at the beach with buddies for the day (one of his buddies called phone and said said 'oh, he must have lost when we were at the beach'. Paid 11 bucks to mail phone to him. This has been 3 weeks ago. Never got a reimbursement but he got his phone back. Not sure if mother dear figured it out 😂

I looked started thinking about it and i remember having a patio sized umbrella one time with that type of button, so I googled "umbrella tilt release button" and there it is.

I love to see people happy when you return a lost item the last cell phone I found I returned it to the owner he never said thanks kid my axx or anything he snatched the phone gave me look like I stole it and turned around and left one in a mill keep on diggin!😊

That looks like the release button to allow your beach umbrella to angle off 45 degrees.

i don't use the 6" as often as i should, it does swing easier submerged in water.

never did, once the battery ran out it wouldn't charge again either. I still have it😔

@@SeekandDetect I think it would be worth buying an inexpensive (or even a knockoff) battery just to get it powered up to see if it could get past the home screen and find info to return it. I don't know of any other way. I've found 2 phones here in Long Beach over the past 10 years. The first one had no power. So I charged it up at home and the owner called soon after and came to pick up their phone. The second time was on the beach bike path and the owner called it right after I picked it up and we could see each other from a short distance still on the bike path. I hope you manage to find the owner. I always like the challenge of returning stuff. The other things I found was a wallet at the laundry mat. I called the number on the student ID and the school called the student and the student called me and came back to the laundry mat to pick up the phone. Also found 2 sets of keys, both had Crunch Gym tags. I have membership there. So I took the keys there and they scanned the tag and the owners got their keys back. Also found a brand new student ID on brand new lanyard on the sidewalk. It was for the school about 10 blocks from my apartment. So I hand delivered that one. Most recently I found a wallet at the beach. Again, good luck.

@@SeeBS2 I had just enough power before it died to try an access but I couldn't get passed the password lock. I've returned a few iphones by hitting emergency and using the contacts there. If they set up a contact you can call them right from that screen.
