I'm just a 31 years old white man from France who discovered Kanye through this album when I was 17. I could speak and understand english pretty good (for a french guy) yet I couldn't understand much of what was said sometimes, and the context was obscure to me a lot of the time. But fuck how much did that album have an impact on me and my appreciation for Hip-Hop. The musicality of the songs, the quality of the samples, the singing, the flow, the feats, it was a huge change in my musical journey. A new land for me. I even learned the lyrics to "Roses" by heart. Probably one of my favourite album of all time, alongside "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill", "Discovery", "Woman WorldWide" and a few others... Kanye's "Late Registration" made me discover and feel so many things.
