I left literally a month after that and I never touched him again, he disgusted me. As a mother, this is hard to watch because his mother is actually trying to cause problems so her son and his fiance don't make it to their wedding. I don't understand that aspect. I really want my boys to have a loving caring partner that makes them happy. My heart goes out to this young lady and hopefully they can find a middle ground.

The son has never had a chance to develop an independent identity. The mother has probably been this manipulating and over baring to him all his life... he has felt her fury, when/ if disobeying her, through out his life and to avoid that he subconsciously avoids conflict. To anyone. Not even his dad seems to be able to stand up against the mother? This is child abuse resulting in a non functional adult son.... He must be given the oppurtunity to be an indiviual with opinions that he fights for before he can function in any adult relationship. So sad to watch.
