Hearing LIEC, I always relive seeing them live during their US tour where they would up their playfulness during this song that was near the end of the concert. It's where they just let loose and try to one up each other and every concert, and you truly truly see that the stage is their playground.

when i watch mic on concert in HK, we are having so much fun chanting with our moobong/jumping/ in LIEC with our queens. i remember i laugh deadly watching mic on Encore-Seoul stage with Hwasa running to them performing this song . and the other memebers can't help laughing too.

Waw was about their journey in kinda sad way (moos thought they were disbanding, it was a hard time), but mic on has the same theme with another light: celebrating their journey, but with joy. Mic on came together with the announcement of the tour (My con). In the tour, 123 eoi is the opening, illella was the middle and liec one of the final songs. Also, the liec instrumental has samples from uoay ( 31:41 in this part) Fun fact: illella doesn't have the breakdance part in the actual song, just the mv and performance, when you listen on music platforms you'll see this difference

Mamamoo is really something the only group who has the guts and vocal chops to release an all ballad album which charted well in Korea and overseas. i have WAW on my playlist whenever I am in my melancholy state

An album of ballads was a perfect release when it came out. All of the Mic On songs are great as was the concert i saw the LA concert, they are unreal live.

⁠ I hadn’t heard the alternate meaning before but I looked into it and I think the swear you’re talking about is “aishi” which means “f*ck”. Which is awesome cause it still kinda sends the same message as “like I even care”. Like forget the bs, let’s let loose and have fun. Only Mamamoo can swear at us and still be adorable and hilarious. 😂
