Muscular dystrophy is a disease that causes muscle weakness and can cause muscle pain in different parts of the body depending on what type you have.

I have Duchenne MD, im 23 and still walking which is rare for duchenne, the walking on the toes is more intense and embarrassing at times for me. But it honestly was nice to see it covered SOMEWHERE. It’s a strange illness, it was slow for me so i dont notice a difference until one day something is used to do easily I couldn’t do anymore. Mine causes pain in most of my body and gets worse, thats how it is for most of us, but there’s hope on the horizon after centuries of no treatments, we finally have been getting medicine designed and approved this past year. I will be one of the first to get a new genetic therapy with UC davis that has been approved by the fda in less than a year. This man’s optimism is wonderful to see as well, he is living his life, despite the challenges this illness causes. Thanks to the news team as well. ❤

You have to eat a high protein diet and drink plenty of green tea and exercise, Blessed Be.
