Cagey match today... I thought Odegaard worked his socks off and is my MOTM. I wasn't a fan of Martin when first signed (preferred ESR), but he's convinced me over the last 2 seasons, now he's an integral part of the team. Also, Saliba and Gabriel were immense. I thought Jesus and Saka spent most of their energy covering for White and Kiwior... I see Tomiyasu securing that left back spot.

It's the international games that take out the bite from such games. Players like Haarland, Ødegaard, Rice, Foden and a few others looked lethargic today

We can clearly see that the 2 teams are on different levels in every regard. Including the fan base. Well played playing for the draw. I suppose there was no other choice. And Arsenal had absolutely no control in that game. We cant score if you field 9 defenders and 2 goal keepers. If you take pride in such... it is who you are. It was like playing a slighly quicker and technical Fulham hey.

Work rate was great , defensive shape just left us too much to do to sustain our attacks . Think it also highlights the need for that x factor attacking threat type winger / striker in the summer transfer window . Anyway we're still in it , keep working and wait for the next slip up. Big Gabi for the motm for me

I did not find the match even slightly dull or boring! It was fascinating to see two great teams trying to find ways to overcone the other. A good match does not have to have goals. No more 'Five at Five'?

It was an incredible performance. We went to not get beat and achieved that. City looked deflated at the end they know this is going to be difficult. You cannot be smacking in 4/5 goals all the time. We've laid down a marker to City and anyone else in this game. No more roll over Arsenal. It will live long in the memory because fo what it gives us for the future. We still need an elite striker and maybe we'd have nicked this. We are still in the race and have a decent chance.

I understand... but you did not lay down any marker... just showed you do not qualify as a rival if you come and play for a draw. You are just a speed bump at this point. All respect to Arsenal though. I called their success when Arteta was hired and young boys started playing at a top level.

@@monkeydluffy736 Things will now change regarding City. We've shown you can nullify them. It IS a marker. Nearly everybody just rolls over for them. They need Liverpool to lose twice - because of this result by us. Nobody has done it this way before. We've given ourselves a chance of winning a title again and if you keep putting yourself in that frame you will win it and sometimes games like this allow you to do that. Fantastic performance.

Tottenham is a bigger risk than United , I don't know if that game is at Anfield , but still , recently ..(I think since Kane avoided a red card against the tackle on Robertson)Totts and Pool games have had extra spice👌

Result is great tbh. 4 out of 6 points against City is as good as you can hope for. However I dont get the hype about the performance. It was so lacking in personality. We played like Stoke city...like a small team hoping to nick something..i waa hoping this game to be the time we finally announce ourselves as equals to them...we still look like we have an inferiority complex.

Nothing wrong admitting we're not at the complete level to go toe to toe with the treble winners , and 3 consecutive pl winners . They deserve respect , we had a plan to keep the game tight and wait for our chance . We went toe to toe with Liverpool and smashed them. Results matter more than style at this point

@adventurerwannabe you keep developing your team . Better players give u more options on how to play . Pep & artetas systems work on precision , u won't see them flood the box with players for an attack . Defending well & retaining shape is a huge asset . Nobody knows how good or bad this result is until the end of the season . But its an improvement on last year's result
