He got beat by Wenger, Mourinho then rebuilt his team and dominated them all while losing Beckham, Keane, Van Nistelroy and others. SAF rebuilt that United team atleast 4 times during his tenure. Liverpool never really challenged before Klopp except for once or twice. Arsenal V Man was really good no doubt, but when Mourinho came UTD and Arsenal were not strong. When UTD came back with Ronaldo Chelsea were sacking managers all the time. And the bottom and middle of EPL has raised the bar by a lot.

Has there ever been as much talk about 1 player missing as Rodri? The simple fact is that if your entire team is dependent on one player then it's not a good team. There was nowhere near the amount of talk when Liverpool lost their entire 4 cbs s few seasons back and Fabinho and Henderson had to play that position. City are getting old and I could see there was something very wrong when they barely beat Southampton 1 nil at home. City at their best would've been 3 or 4 up by the 70th minute and been taking off their best players to rest them. But don't worry the oil is still flowing and they'll find a way around the rules next summer to buy 4 or 5 of the best players available.

That's the problem with City at the moment. Foden and Gundogan don't chase the ball at all. Once they lose the ball they just jog as if the defense doesn't need their help. Tottenham's defense was so solid that City couldn't break them. While City's defense was so easy to pick up.

The best Spurs team is with their first choice centre backs back, and Son as a false 9. Solanke should be on the bench and Maddison and Johnson should start. That’s a balanced team. Bissouma and Sarr should start every game unless injured. Then Bentancur can come in.
