Go Judge go. Judges stepping up and not only handing out the appropriate Sentence but sending the message "these horrific Crimes will not continue." So unnecessary and preventable, what an absolutely horrible way to die.

If cars had speed limiters the outcome of this accident might have been different. Why would any car, other than a police patrol, need to go 150 mph?

FACTS!! THAT SHOULD BE BUILT IN CARS. But I guess the car need To be advanced enough to know what speed limit on what road should be on 🤷‍♂️

@@ThaVisionaryTeam The speed limit in the United States as a whole is 94 MPH. I think all vehicles should be limited to 100 MPH. Even if you have an emergency and are going to the hospital, driving at over 100 MPH is so dangerous that you are more likely to kill yourself than you are to make it to the hospital. Ford already has a car that knows the speed limits and will not go faster than those limits unless you deep press the gas pedal. The problem is that police evaders (and roadragers in general) have no problem flooring the gas pedal.

His attorney must be nuts, coming up with the usual excuses, then blaming Hollywood.

The evidence was too strong. He's paid to argue and ensure his client's rights, he ain't getting paid to quit. Its the fault of the client for committing a crime that had so much irrefutable evidence that it gave the defense attorney nothing to work with.

so he's 36 now, which means he would be released at age ~76. but he also has 20 years of probation, very likely he will violate it, so ~96 age old when he can truly be free unless he gains additional charges. he deserves it.

He murdered two people while under the influence. He should never leave prison alive and set an example for why drinking and driving kills the innocent. His attorney is detestable for trying to focus the issue on hollywood et. al. Nobody held a gun to his head and made him drink.

This sentence of 40 years might make others think twice before getting wasted and driving...its better to drink at home and wake up without knowing you took two lives and spending decade after decade in prison, and for what? Try uber or a designated driver...maybe?

One of the most significant issues we have in our judicial system is the teaming up of the prosecution and defense. They don’t actually do their jobs anymore. They just make deals with each other. That is their job now to make a deal. To reduce the sentences and the time served to a minimum and get these people back out on the street fast as possible, no matter how many times they’ve been in for the same offense. We need to start paying more attention to that and get these people out of those positions if they don’t want to do their jobs. Judges need to stop accepting these deals. I seen a study one time that said nearly 70% of all the crimes committed or committed by somebody that should already be in prison. Had they been sentenced and serve the time for the crime committed. I believe it.
