He was mad because his wife & him got into a bus accident (caused by some faults in the bus that could be avoidable) and his wife miscarriaged & paralyzed from the waist down as the result. Not to mention, he was forced to retire from a job that keeps his sanity. I perfectly understood his character and the reason why he wanted to end it all because he felt like there is nothing left in this earth for him

I called the suicide hotline about a week ago. My friend has told me about this movie but I never got to see it. But now that I've seen this video, shit wouldve touched me more if I had actually just watched the movie. I can relate though. Despite she had 2 young daughters, pregnant and a husband who got injured, still able to take time to check out Otto. She's the turning point of Otto's life.
