Aside from the emotional abuse and manipulation, she doesn't even get charged for filing a false report and wasting police resources? The police said they spoke to her and went to the house over a period of several years. The file was still open. People spoke to family members, friends, neighbors, coworkers, teachers, people into the area..... and nothing? That is the easiest case. "Did you report your son missing". "Yes". "Was your son in your home the whole time?" "Yes". Stick a fork in her, she's done like dinner. At the very least, send her for some court ordered psychiatric care.

Back in the early 80s, there was this mother who said her son had a rare disease inwhich he was dying from. This boy got money and get well cards from around the world. He better stay away from her at all times now. She probably gained a lot of rightful sympathy after the death of her husband and then her son, but apparently wanted more, thus the hoax. If he'd return to her, who knows what she would do to him to "earn" more sympathy again. This woman likely needs psychiatric care, not just a "d'oh, you fooled us, you're naughty!".

Loosely related and much more recent, with comparisons to the Jussie Smollet case, Carlee Russell claimed to see a toddler next to a busy interstate, yet there were zero other reports of the same toddler, then Carlee went "missing" for a weekend. Some theorize that she needed some time away from her boyfriend to spend time with another lover, but no information about what actually happened has come from her family since her on-foot return to home.

I saw a video from a former friend of Rudy's mother. she straight up accused Rudy's mother of knowing where rudy was because other things she didn't care to look for her "missing" son much and yet she would go to events to raise funds in the name of her "missing" son. there was another interview of a neighbor who said that whenever she saw rudy she thought he looked drugged. it's sad to think what this kid went through. I think the syndrome could last into the child's adulthood if the child was very dependent mentally on the mother or caregiver.

I don't think Quannell is lying either, he seemed very emotional when he told the press what Rudy told him what his mother put him through. Now do you think Janey did SA and groom her son Rudy, or did they both plan out this hoax or he just went along with it by force? I saw his video, but why was he pixelated wearing sunglasses? I just found that to be very odd, however, being someone who was also sexually assaulted at a very young age, I know that I would want to hide and that's possibly one way to do it by wearing sunglasses. But I'm still on the fence with Rudy, but I would really hate to think that this young man would go along with this hoax, especially if he planned it out with his mother. What say you? I really want to know what you think because you seem to think that they're both in on it and I'd really like to know because I need clarity, thanks.🙏🏻

Oooh I hadn't thought of that! Damn, ppl r gonna ruin it for everyone.. when someone genuinely needs assistance nobody will want to take a chance to donate for fear of another fraud. Sad.

From my understanding, Rudy really did run away initially. And his mom did file the missing person report not know where he was. He said he ran away because he wanted to get away from his mom. When he came back a few days later, she told him to hide or he would be arrested for running away. She saw an opportunity to keep Rudy from leaving. She lost a husband, son, and now was close to losing Rudy. After a few years, she figured people forgot about him and began to let hims leave the house under a different name. Rudy has also claimed his mom was drugging him, made him sleep in the same bed with her, and told him be was going to be her husband. Poor Rudy, he definitely seems to be an innocent soul with developmental delays who was manipulated by his mother.

I live south of Houston but I don’t remember the original story of him going missing. But after he was found, I heard a story that, while in the hospital, his mother never left his side. when she did finally step out, he told police officers that his mother had been keeping him locked up in the house and abusing him. But she let him out to the park? Maybe she kept him locked up for a short time until he was sufficiently under her control. I don’t know. Seems that she should at least return any money she had been given.

Yeah, this one was really strange. I wonder how hard the police really looked for Rudy? He was in his own house for 8 years, and investigators couldn't find him? Glad I don't live in that town! We're all living on the land of the 'never missing,' unless we actually go missing. Dr. G cracked me up when he said that! 🤣 Have a great day, sis. ❤

Thank You Dr. Grande, so glad to hear your analysis on this. So many ppl keep saying well Rudy was an adult he could have left if he wanted to. He's just part of the scam. I don't understand how ppl don't get that if he was "programmed" by his mother to believe that he would be arrested if anyone knew where he was and who he was then this would be a legitimate fear of his and he would be frightened. Especially since Rudy's dad was a police officer until his self unalive. He would assume that she would know the laws better than him and who knows what sort of horror stories she told him could happen to him if he went to jail. Also, she drugged him a lot with psychedelic mushrooms and then forced her twisted versions of facts and reality on him. She did not teach him about the most basic life skills so that he would be dependant upon her and afraid to be away from her and kept him isolated most of the time. If family members came to the house she made him stay locked in the bedroom and remain quiet and he said he used to cry hearing them all laughing and talking together because he missed them and wanted to see them too but she told him he can't or he will be arrested and sent to jail. She also kept him exhausted by making him work 12 hours a day 7 days a week and then only gave him $60 out of his earnings, knowing it wouldn't be enough money for him to make it on away from her. He stated that he left the night he crashed the car and was discovered because he wanted his own life. He wanted to be in charge of the decisions in his own life, he said that he didn't think it was fair that he worked 12 hours a day 7 days a week and was only allowed $60 from each paycheck. He said I work all the time. All these hours every single day. Then I have to do things at home like make food for my mom when I'm exhausted and I don't think that $60 is fair. He said I want all of the money that I worked the hours for and I want to have my own house and pay my own bills and make decisions for me and I don't ever want her to be near me again, I don't want to see her again, I want her to stay away forever. His body was covered in injuries from head to toe and he was forced to sleep in the same bed as her and when he would shower she would come in the bathroom and pull back the curtain and he was forced to have her bathe him and he said that crossed boundaries that were not ok with him. Again, she's drugging him regularly as well and distorting reality. His brothers death hit him hard as he was a big part of his life and he played a big role in taking care of Rudy as he was many years older. When police were questioned about the fact that Rudy spoke of crossed boundaries and there was inappropriate contact by bathing him against his wishes, forcing him to sleep in her bed etc and prob things he doesn't exactly want to acknowledge or discuss with the public their response was that he is an adult over 18 and they can't find anything that was done to him that was non consensual so there's nothing to charge her for. WTF since when is there a such thing as consent when it comes to a parent being inappropriate to their child. Don't they understand intimidation, isolation, threats, punishment, drugging someone to make them incoherent, trauma fear. What the hell kind of statement is that? If it were a father and his 17 yr old daughter ( at the time he went "missing") through the age of 25 and all of this going on that man would be behind bars with a whole list of charges. She fkd him up mentally and emotionally, got his brain dependant on these drugs and riddled his body with injuries, wounds, and scars and isolated him, crossed boundaries, and brainwashed him, as well as intimidation, and withheld his earnings. Come on. Can Rudy ever receive justice for all of this abuse at the hands of his mother? Can we do anything on his behalf to demand she be held accountable for her crimes? Even his family wants her behind bars and they're terrified if she is near him again she will unalive him then herself because she's already referenced g*uns. He needs extensive help and alot of therapy. What can be done for him to receive justice? I am so angry and I am so hurt for him. This isn't right. Why did they wait 8 days to question him about his disappearance? After questioning him at the police station with a 3rd party in the room at Rudy's request and hearing everything about what his mother had done and seeing him scared and crying and saying to keep her away, why did they allow her to go into the interrogation room that he was in at all BUT especially with no officers present and only her and Rudy where she was overheard telling him what to say when they spoke to him again and what not to say. That's not ok! If she did nothing wrong why does she have to tell what the truth is to speak of. Why was she placed in hand cuffs and then free to leave 5 min later? Ugh make it make sense.

So glad that the cops were doing such a great job investigating. I am trying to imagine why they never talked to the neighbors. Sounds like since she was not pestering them to find her son that should have raised some bright red flags. What did she get out of the hoax?
