Regardless, I always thought ride operators needed to be aware of the person/people on the ride and stop it any sign of distress?
@xLoverForever3 жыл бұрын
Because he agreed to go on it regardless of what he was gonna feel at the top. The operators would get in trouble if they let him down just because he felt like it, also I believe he stayed in line and had lots of time to think it thru so theirs no going back for the operators or him. The distress that he experienced at the top was purely just him imAgininf the drop way deeper than it to be and thinking something's gonna go wrong just because he thinks so. If theirs nothing happening to the actual person, the operators have no business lowering him no matter how long it would take because it's their job to operate it than to decline it and give the riders what they want.

It could have been me. Years ago I went with my son who was around 7 at the time to a German adventure water park. We climbed the stairs up, he went first on the waterslide, I followed, but just around the first corner and then I panicked and hold on for dear life in the corner and was screaming my head off. The staff came and said, lady, nothing will happen u have to release the grip of your hand, which made me scream even more. I came to my senses when one of the lifesavers screamed at me, there is no way we can get u back, u r to heavy adding insult but at the same time I realised, either I am going to die or I have to trust. So I did my last prayer, released my hold and went down. My son was waiting for me, pointing to the checkpoint and saying, Mummy this is embarassing, we were watching u on camera and everybody was crying tears of laughter. Well, s... happens, thats life ...

Yeah. After riding a water slide on a family day at the amusement park, we stood in a spot to watch more riders come down. My mom stood off to the side because she didn’t want to get wet. I noticed the sidewalk where she was standing was drenched and knew that’s where all the water went so I nudged the others and told them she was going to get splashed. We watched her get drenched by the splash and scream, and spent the rest of the day laughing about it. It did make the day stick in my memories more. I’m grateful as I’ve since lost my mom. I cherish those memories.
