Man shoots at bear in Gatlinburg from a Motel 6

A Hixon man shot at a bear from a Motel 6 in Gatlinburg. Yet, Gatlinburg residents say that the bear was not aggressive.

We were just there for the fourth, at this exact hotel. Mr. bear came around and those fools were throwing him junk food. No wonder he roams the breezeway; there's sure to be a moon pie in it for him 🙁

Tennessee black bears DO NOT attack unless they are provoked. I worked with Tennessee black bears for over a year, so yes I should know.

How about Patrick Madura? Or mom and daughter few weeks back or last week when bear broke into someones cabin and he had to go to hospital. Patrick was eaten alive by the way.
