Actually I’m a bit scared about moving to Japan by myself and for high school and the thing I’m the most scared of is my appearance being foreigner in a Japanese high school I know international exists but i prefer the Japanese ones and so I want to attend one of them but I cannot .

@@carolineramirez3618 you can take Japanese 101 classes to learn more,but i do recommend learning basic phrases like hello,goodbye,thank you,etc. you can also use an app called *Bunpo* its literally the best.also i knew quite a few Japanese so things like ordering food and stuff like that i knew😁

I recently started thinking about studying abroad and not limiting myself to my home country. I thought of Japan and I'm so glad I found your video. At first I was super happy but then when I thought about being 16 hours away from my family, experiencing homesickness and not having a community I can relate to I started feeling down and really wonder if I wanted to do this but you hoenstly have reignited my hope and I'm going to do some more research. I have looked at some universities before like Kyoto and Akita.. I would love to studying engineering at an undergrad level. I really hope the oppurtunity comes true.

do you recommend studying in japan with no prior knowledge of the Japanese language? I was looking at Kyoto University and they have UG programs in English in the areas I'm interested in, so I'm considering it, but I've never lived in Japan, don't know the language or the culture.

Hey I come from a lower middle class family and only one of my parent works and I plan on do a bachelors in business administration (4 year) course do you think it would be to expesive for me with trying to get student loans/accommodations/food/entertainment/books and all that for 4 years? I'm from Ireland by the way and it's the most expensive place to go to college in europe so I was interested in maybe going to Japan for college.

@ManaKimura
@ManaKimura 3 жыл бұрын
it really depends on what you're looking for! there's a lot of great schools that you can study abroad in japan. if you wanted to be in an environment where there's more culture / nature, i would recommend schools in kyoto (kyoto univeristy, doshisha university, ritsumeikan uni, etc.) if you were looking for more of a city vibe, then tokyo is your place (waseda, keio, sophia, etc).

Is it tough to take a year worth of classes in Japan with minimal japanese? I’m specifically looking towards Waseda. Also where did you meet your japanese friends? Im comfortable talking to new people but I feel like the language barrier will be quite tough

hi, from other videos i’ve seen i believe some japanese universities offer classes in english, unless you’d like to take your courses in japanese. ive watched some of kemushichan’s videos and i believe she has taken classes in japanese so if you’re interested maybe you can check out some of her videos! you’d probably need to have a strong japanese foundation however i’m not 100% sure. i wish you luck :D
@ManaKimura

hi katz! like how nya mentioned, there are a number of classes offered only in english (esp if you go to the international departments.. SILS at waseda is all english too!). i met most of my japanese friends on campus! it's def hard to interact with non-international students as an international student, but if you join clubs and sports teams, it's much easier to meet japanese students! the language barrier is def athing, but you'd be surprised by how much english japanese students can speak too (esp if you meet them at college!)
