LOVE IT! Feel totally related to the experience of building up a Mandala. I started drawing them in 2020 and soon I learned that this was not about inserting a symbol within the circle, but allowing your creation process to flow outside “the box”, letting the lines and symbols connect by themselves…rephrasing your words, let yourself be guided by your inner self. It surprises and amazes me so deeply! Thank You 👏

I am interested in creating mandala that evolve from creating surface textures with my students in an art dream workshop. I find with textured surfaces environments and symbols evolve with less structure or purpose bringing one closer to the unconscious.

I have a Mandala layout book I created to help people "build" mandalas. I used the layouts as a tool to meditate with, then I created a class where I meld breath and body work with the building of mandalas for this "active meditation." When I am done with a session...I often feel like I just woke from a restful nap...I've only had the opportunity to teach it a few times. :)

I really enjoy the Serenity and peace that mandalas bring to me. I use bright and vibrant color to lift my mood when I feel down.

Excellent! Thank you!!!! My astrologer's artist husband creates mandalas with thousands of computer data. He created my Guru's mandala (Paramhansa Yogananda) and mine. They fascinate and draw me. My ego is large, I'm very brain oriented. Yogananda's, however, is almost entirely Self.

Just one comment, but major: The triangle pointing UP represents YANG (male principle), triangles pointing DOWN represent YIN (female principle). Enjoyed this, thanks.

Very important misstatement, as this is one of the main principles of natural law, the law of gender (Positive/Negative, Yin/Yang)

That was wonderful thank you so much for all your research & clarity in presenting it. I was hoping to find insight into the meanings & you’ve done that. I’m saving so I can watch again & again. There are many gems in this. ❤
