The Jedi let their ideals and values fall apart and we're unwilling to change. The Sith were a scourge that was only a leach to society, so they were sought out and destroyed. Meanwhile, Mandalorians had survival as their primary goal, instead of greed or idleness. They sought to increase their numbers where ever they could. So even during a struggling time, the Mandalorian way will find a way to survive.
@LoliFoxQueen4 жыл бұрын
@Bostan Liviu if you go back far enough both the sith and the mandalorians refered to a race rather than an order/way of life, the sith go back to the first dark jedi who found a race calling themselves sith and the name simply became synonimous with dark side users, go even further back to before courasant became a city planet and you will find that two species lived on and fought over control. humans and what would later become the mandalorians, at some point the mandalorians got forced off of courasant and traveled to the planet now known as mandalor. thats all i can really remember of this off the top of my head but there are videoes on the various bits of lore in star wars, i would reccomend watching them as they are very entertaining and iluminating.

@@LoliFoxQueen the taung is their name, and mandalorian culture was opened to all species when mandalore the ultimate went to shogun and had a vision to do so(this not being the first time a mand'alor experienced a vision on shogun). And technically the sith order never referred to the species per se, rather the name is a shortening of the original term "lord of the sith" as in the lord or master of the sith species, as the first lords enslaved the species.

@Bostan Liviu Not everyone can be a Mando. You have to have the Mandalorian Spirit, as they say. Yea, anyone can find back alley armor and claim all they want (Like most people believe Jango did, but those people also take that on the words of a character who lied through his teeth and Mandalore was trying to distance themselves from him due to the clone army, so he was, more than Satine could ever be) but it does not make you a Mandalorian. I suggest the Karen Travis Clone Commando books. Amazing reads and give much more detail on Mando language and culture than even the show The Mandalorian could, not to say they haven't, its a damn good show.

That’s exactly what these ancient war songs were for. I also love that you realize mandolorians aren’t afraid to lose in battle, it doesn’t make a difference win or lose, battle exterminates weakness, thus making them better in every way. The mandolorians are my favorites. It’s so interesting how like the Jedi they have a strict way of life that they hold sacred, but unlike the Jedi they are brutal and always looking for a fight, logically then when compared with the sith you would think they are more similar but no. They are different. Sith seek power to gain understanding but mandolorians don’t seek for power necessarily, they seek to rid themselves of weakness. Idk I’m just rambling. And their physiological advantages, such as their redundant organs and regenerative abilities, would likely negate any technological advancements offered to the Mandalorians. It's one of the few scifi matchups I actually find interesting, because it almost entirely ignores the relative power tiers of the two universes in question. Ultimately, it would probably wind up being a numbers game.
