He said yes and asked if I would ever make it. I told him I'll make it right now I have all the ingredients. I made it with just one can of cream of mushroom and one can of french onion. I finely chopped a small onion and cooked it all in my everything pan on my stovetop. Turned out great! Thanks so much for your great channel!

@jb6712 Жыл бұрын
Oh! I thought that sound might have been Steven's and Cole's reactions to how good the food was 😁! There's a 3 ingredient biscuit recipe that's absolutely phenomenal simply because the woman uses 3/4 Cup of buttermilk (she said any milk will do, but we all know what buttermilk does in baking!) and 1/2 stick of butter, very soft, in the dough along with the AP flour (2 cups). The process is all the same, of course--mix, knead, put some extra flour onto the counter, pat out the dough, cut out the biscuits, bake at the same temp and time as the 2 ingredient ones. It's that one addition of butter, plus changing up the milk to tangy buttermilk, that makes the difference.

If anyone on here has not tried it, type in rice crispies southwest stuffed bell peppers online and make them. It is weird because, they are made with rice crispies cereal instead of rice. You can't even tell. I made some of them and brought them to work. They said it was the best stuffed peppers they ever had. They are really awesome. Thumb up to their recipe because they are the bomb. I do use red peppers instead of green and I am not a fan of olives so I omit them. It's funny because you can hear the snap, crackle and pop when you mix the cereal in with the other ingredients. They are the best. I am hooked and so, that's my always go to recipe for stuffed peppers now.

The weight watcher community makes a 2 ingredient dough as well for same type of biscuits except they use yogurt instead. It kinda gives off the vibe of sourdough bread biscuits. So if you decided to try a lighter version you could always try the yogurt. 😊

I make my pot roast the same way in the crockpot. I only omit the spinach. I add a chuck roast, the same seasonings, the 2 cans of cream of mushroom and the 1 can of French onion soup along with some carrots. I cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 4 to 6. I always serve my pot roast with mashed potatoes because that's what we prefer but you could add in some potatoes into the crock and have a full meal. The soups with the meat juices make a perfectly delicious gravy. Mark likes me to make a pot roast so that the 2nd day I can turn it into vegetable beef soup. I use the leftover beef and gravy. I add a diced onion, a couple ribs of celery, a couple of diced potatoes, a can of diced tomatoes, a bag of mixed vegetables and either some water or beef broth. I usually add between 3 and 4 cups. With that gravy it turns into delicious soup. We often have enough soup for dinner and then lunch the 3rd day. So 3 meals from 1 pot roast. You will have to try this too.

Did you know when you cut out biscuits if you jiggle the cutter instead of just pushing it down then up that motion will seal the edges preventing them from rising their highest? I didn’t know either until I watched a chef one day. Hugs

I recently watched another KZbinr who had received the Butcher Box meat and it also looked incredible. Sounds like a wonderful option, especially these days, to have such a good quality meats delivered to your home. The stuffed peppers looked great. I have never precooked the peppers before but what a great idea. The only stuffed peppers I've made before had ground meat and rice in the stuffing. Your recipe looked very tasty 😋 and a nice change from the old recipe. Everything's better with cheese! Denny's used to have your breakfast casserole on their menu. Not in a casserole but the stack of biscuits, sausage, eggs, cheese and gravy. Not sure if they still have it on the menu but your version looks amazing. I love the Pioneer gravy mix. I've used the country gravy for years, always a good staple. The crazy crock pot chicken looked like the perfect dinner for a cold rainey night. That little can of cream of mushroom soup adds such a rich element to any dish. I've also seen the two ingredient biscuits made before. One KZbinr made them at the beginning of the pandemic, saying it was easier to find cream in the store than milk. And the biscuits are always perfect. Very nice recipes, thanks for sharing!

October 3, 2023 Hey Mandy, This was a great recipe but it needed something. Try roasting your peppers under broiler or on the grill instead of softening in microwave, it adds a ton of flavor to an otherwise bland pepper.
