You have no idea how you just made me the happiest lady on the planet. I absolutely LOVE you all, I have been watching you for years. Long story, short version, I was fighting cancer and laid on my couch for 2 rough years with very difficult treatment and surgeries. I only have a smart tv in my room and became obsessed with KZbin. I am a blogger who has known for years I need to dive more into KZbin but never had the time to learn or understand KZbin. I started to watch since I had a lot of time on my hands while fighting cancer. I had to slow down and I would watch hours and hours of KZbin. I fell in LOVE with so many creators and still just obsessively watch KZbin. You are one of the people I watch all the time! I have binge-watched your KZbin many days while not feeling my best. So you and your beautiful family have a special place in my heart. You have kept my mind occupied many days. So once I saw I was getting views on one of my all-time favorite recipes, from KZbin and I have not made a video yet since I am slowly getting back into working (I kicked cancer's butt!!!) I started to hunt around and when I found that it was you that had made my recipe, I nearly screamed!!! The fact that you both loved it, just literally made my world after some truly trying times. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. And seriously.....OMG Mandy in the Making made my recipe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So darn exciting!! 🥰

We spent a total of 7 yrs in Germany on my hubby's tours for the Army. I learned how to make sourkraut the Germany way with apples, white wine and caraway seeds and let it cook all day. Now the faster method is same but use apple sauce or apple juice. My hubby still likes it out of the can. 😂

Tip I found to be sooo convenient is to take corn in the husk and put in a bag and put it in microwave, three minutes per ear. Then cut the opposite end from the silks and then squeeze from the silk in out the open part and most of the silk will be left behind and it does pre-cook your corn

Watching your first crockpot recipe reminded me of a casserole that I threw together when my children were young. I cannot remember how to send it in for a possible Subby Supper. I buttered a casserole dish, threw in sliced kielbasa or polish sausage, diced Granny Smith apples with skin on, chopped sweet onion, and washed and quartered baby red skin potatoes. Salt and Pepper to taste. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Oddly enough, a drizzle of organic maple syrup over the top brought it all together. I served it with corn bread and it was devoured. A great fall meal. I'll bet this one could be done in a crockpot as well!

When I make sauerkraut and kielbasa, I use a 32 Oz. bag or jar of sauerkraut drained and rinsed, a 1 lb. package of kielbasa, sliced, 1 medium diced onion, 2 cloves of garlic, minced, 1 1/4 cup of V-8 Juice and 1/2 cup of chicken broth. I layer it into a buttered casserole dish, covered. Bake at 350°F for 2 hours. I don't have a crock pot, but I'm sure it can be adapted to a crock pot. It smells heavenly while it's cooking. Oh, I also put a bit of Sweet Baby Ray's brown sugar and hickory BBQ sauce on the side of my plate to lightly dip each fork full into. When I gave this recipe to my 80 yr. old brother, he said, "Where has this been all my life?" 😊

I use my crockpot year-round. I actually have a London broil cooking in it tonight. Will be making open face roast beef sandwiches tomorrow with mashed potatoes and okra yum.
