I make my beanies & weenies with Bush's Baked Beans. I'm not much on measurements. I use a bigger can and the smaller one for a 6 pack of beef hotdogs. I only eat beef but that's personal preference. I slice the hot dogs and fry with onions and bell pepper, in a little bacon grease. I add that to the 2 cans of baked beans that I dumped in a casserole dish. I add a little maple syrup, salt and pepper, and about 1/2 tbs of brown sugar. I sometimes add Texas Pete but can also add it to just my bowl if I am fixing for grandbabies. I bake it about 25 minutes on 350 until good and bubbly. Best beanies and weenies!

My fur babies love cornbread. (2 Maltipoos) Every time the fridge opens they think I am pulling out the shredded cheese. YEP. They are spoiled. OH MY GOODNESS. The triple B when I was broke in the 70's became a stable meal for me and my daughter. Onion, ketchup, 1 drop mustard, bell pepper (if I had it) 1 can pork & beans, 1/3 pkg ground beef and 2 slices bacon if I had it. Back then ground beef was 2 lbs for $1. 1 can Showboat pork & beans 39c. Bacon $1. She and I got two meals out of 1 skillet meal.

The last one is so similar to my sweet mother-in-laws recipe passed down to us called Bean Pot. Bell pepper, gr beef, onion, Worcestershire, canned diced tomatoes, ketchup and dab of tomato paste. Also tbs of sugar. We also make fried corn bread to go with it. And usually pear-mayo-cheese salad for side. Yum! So enjoy your cooking recipes…I really like when you tell ‘exactly’ your settings on heat …when you turn up and down! Enjoy watching on youtube!

Smear one batch of corn mix in your dish, top with the Triple B, plop the other batch on top & spread it out. Sprinkle your favorite shredded cheese. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes @ 400*. I love V8 low sodium. I could drink a glass every day - I like mine poured over a few ice cubes. When COVID first hit, shutdiwns and all, I bought a few cases of the pop can size version of the low sodium V8 reasoning that it would be a good nuritious option if things got scarce. Additionally if I take an icy cold can to work for a snack when hunger strikes it can satisfy my hunger for several hours.

On the chili; I have to tell you that Bush's makes beans specifically for chili. Using those, you could probably forget all the other seasoning (except maybe salt and pepper) for the chili. It's an asolutely wonderful shortcut to a good chili that's just as customizable as the one from next door. On the Triple B: YOINK! I'm probably going to make that one tomorrow, if I can get me some bacon. Used the last of it on smashburgers off the griddle last night. Who knew American and Provolone would be so good together?
