WOW Drugstore! I am impressed!

Today we are trying out some NEW drugstore makeup! I discovered a few new go to's in this haul, including a new holy grail lip product that is shockingly affordable! I hope you enjoy this one! Thanks for watching!

UPDATES:
Foundation: 8/10- I liked it but didn't love it as much as the Skin Tint. Less glow, slightly less coverage but it wore well. I tried it with and withouth the primer; felt the same way.
Primer: 8/10- it's okay, though I suspect it may have caused a little breakout. Not my favorite glowy primer.
Lip Pen: 10/10- SO GOOD! If you see this GRAB IT!! It's my new favorite makeup product!
Eyeshadow: 8/10- pretty good performance. Great colors; decent pigmentation but buildable.
Bronzer: 7/10- Good but I noticed some patchiness if I didn't use a powder underneath. Worked best with a large brush.

Usuallly, I wear just my bra or a t-shirt or tank top/undershirt to put on makeup. On the rare occasion when I'm applying or just doing a touchup with any product that might stain my clothing, I tuck a bandanna into the collar or neckline. I also use a bandanna as a bib if I'm eating something sloppy or slurpy at mealtime. I always have at least one folded up in my bag, cuz you just never know. They're cheap, easy to wash, they don't shred like a tissue will, and they come in handy for lots of things. Love the video! And I always stroll thru WalMart's makeup and skincare depts. first!

That smoky palette has been around for a while and it was my everyday palette for a long time. I used it so much I panned several shades. It looks like the packaging has changed. I like it! I may pick up a new one as mine has been well loved and it could use a refresh since it is quite old now. Thanks for reminding me of this favorite! ❤ I love the look you did with it. Surprisingly I always grab the cool tones but I really should experiment with the warmer shades too. 😊 They look beautiful! What’s funny is I didn’t have the same experience with the Maybelline skin tint. I don’t get enough coverage and by the middle of my 10 hr work day I can see all my freckles, discoloration and spots coming through so I’m sad about that. However lately I have been opting for a more full coverage slightly matte finish which is weird for my dry skin to enjoy that so much. I guess things are changing all the time as far as my preferences and what I want any given season lol. Last year I’d opt for a skin tint any day over a full coverage matte so idk.🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope I come back to the skin tint coverage - perhaps this summer. I’m re discovering and enjoying the cover girl extreme wear again lately too. It lasts really well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m glad you tried all these….some I’ve been wanting to try…. I just coughed up the dough to buy a high end eye palette for Valentine’s Day so my lip oils will be coming from dollar tree if I run out instead of NYX,LOL….although we have scored brand name stuff at DT too…..glad you pulled out the Milani….i love that brand….cant wait to hear your thoughts on the pressed powder…I’m older than you so I gotta watch how much I use but I do like a good powder…❤

I tried the new Maybelline 30H foundation and returned it. It was just too matte for me. I need a little bit of luminosity and didn't get that with this foundation. I'll try the Maybelline Skin Tint after using up my Flower Beauty Light Illusion foundation. LOVE that one. I saw the Pretty in Pink lip Profusion Lip Plump and didn't pick it up. After seeing it on you, Mandy, I'll definitely get it. You and I have the same skin/hair color, and it looked beautiful on you! I tried the new Milani purple primer, and I didn't feel like it did much of anything for me. Returned that as well.

Thanks for your comment. I really like the Maybelline skin tint, but I haven't found the perfect color. I got 120 (too light and not cool) but I mix it with L'oreal's skin tint in 3-4 (too dark). I was considering getting the one she is trying out. I haven't ever heard of the Flower Beauty foundation, so I will look for it. I just got their bronzer which has a little glow. At 65 I don't want matte. I can powder out the t zone. I am using Loreal's primer in a tube which I prefer over the Milani purple one. God bless.

I found the Pat McGrath eye-face palette and the smaller face one at my local Marshall’s for $12 and $14. It’s a bit too dark - I’m on the fair side and with some sun am a darker fair. I have to use a very light hand. But it is lovely. I mix the bronzer with my face powder on the brush and that helped a lot. I picked those up because you had a video on them. I definitely need the lighter palettes though, but I made those work. ❤🥰👍

Happy Monday Mandy. Your nails look fantastic. I love the sparkle in the polish. The Revolution Pro 18 pan blush/ highlighter palette- I bought it on eBay- it just gorgeous. I use some of the highlighters as shadow. Sadly my local Walmart does not carry that brand in store.☹️The lip color is just beautiful on you. You are so stunning. My great niece thinks you’re a Princess. She is home schooled & doesn’t watch a lot of 🖥️. She is 💯 % correct. Hi Mandy, This eye look is lovely. As I watched, it seemed like the shadows went on pretty smoothly with no skipping. The pigmentation seemed good - didn't need to keep dipping in for more product, but not too over-the-top. I didn't see any fallout, but sometimes that is difficult to see on camera. The color story is nice. You were able to get a good mix between warm and cool. Were there any negatives? Even tho it is inexpensive, I won't use it if the formula is bad. Thanks! 💜

That does look like a nice soft cool pink lip. My favorite color lip liner ever is Jordan’s nude pink. Drying as all get up but it’s my perfect my lips but better color so of course I love it all over. Can’t even find that brand anywhere and my lips would peel for two days after but I sure wish I could find that color in a better brand. Long rant to say I like that lip color 😆

The Maybelline foundation oxidized at least a shade, but I liked the formula and coverage! I’ll probably buy a shade or two lighter to see if that helps!

I ordered the blue color corrector from Elf to mix in. Most foundations oxidize on me, so I'll mix it in with mine. It seems to work.

I bought a Profusion eyeshadow palette. I like it but the shadows aren’t very pigmented. You mentioned having a nasty cold. I had COVID twice. Both times the only symptoms I had were cold symptoms. Did you test for COVID?

A suggestion for protecting clothing from makeup - buy a silk like, cheap square scarf and put it over your head when putting on clothes that have to go over your head. Works every time.
