Yes. An MC that doesn’t let the the childhood friend talk bad about him and actually stands up for himself. Alissa didn’t really like Keigo and it was obvious from her body language when Keigo confessed. After she dumped him she pretended as if nothing happened and when he started dating Kasumi she gets irritated and actually expected Keigo to still have feelings for her🤦🏽. This story was way better than that other one which was really disappointing. The Mc liked his childhood friend but she was always pushing him away saying he shouldn’t talk to her and when she found out that he went somewhere with a girl she got jelly and said he’s cheating on her when they were not even dating she was the one pushing him away. 🤦🏽

True the story was pretty all over the place tbh. Alissa broke up because shes not interested thats fine at least its not out of the blue but trying to get back after dating another person who is older than her is a highly questionable thing to do and most of the time people just wanna move forward rather than get back. On top of that, Alissa is lucky theyre childhood friends because they were able to reconcile in the end.

@@crimzon_x4441 I have to disagree about people moving forward, I've seen them believe the grass is greener on the other side, but when things is not like they thought it would be, they would try hop back over the fence and pick up where they left off, in this case Alissa know the mc was a good guy, and bought her things and treated her well, which I doubt the other guy did even half of those things, plus mc never chased behind her after the break up, instead, moved on and started dating someone else and held his ground showing he was completely over her.

I loved this one so much. I was fully expecting the cliche misunderstanding moment when Kasumi walked in on the hug, but she stood her ground and told Alissa to get off her boyfriend. And even after, to still come back and reach out to Alissa after she lost all her friends was such a mature thing to do. Kasumi is truly waifu material.

@@Rezagard That's another thing. Yeah, she was unlikable in pretty much every sense through most of the story. And when she was down at her lowest, they still were willing to reach out to her. That gesture was enough. She was able to start becoming a better person at the end. I like when they can reach out to someone who had been horrible to them and help turn that person around for the better. I know a couple people who were given a second chance because of someone reaching out to them.

The word love, in a more impactful, meaning "you're my soulmate, my destiny". But it's just in literature/manga/etc, for your everyday language, you don't go saying, "Aishiteru" in the streets.

I really like seeing characters broken by the consequences of their bad decisions. I love seeing negative emotions in anime. Sadness, sorrow, regret... Far more interesting than the standard sugar-coated sugar we're usually served. Cheaters being caught and losing the love of their lives, people crushed by losing a happy future because of a single fling... really tasty. What made Alissa think that she could throw him away and just pick him back up out of the trash later? The ONE thing she did right was breaking up instead of cheating.

This actually is similar to another story on this channel, where the tsundere childhood friend (Emiri) rejected the MC's (Subaru) love confession, but the school beauty (Iori) healed his broken heart. Subaru started to date Iori, which made Emiri jealous. Eventually, Emiri tried to take back Subaru from Iori, but Iori refused to give him back. And Subaru stated that due to how coldly Emiri treated him, he no longer had feelings for her, preferring to date Iori instead. That caused Emiri to run away crying. However, this story had a happier ending, with the characters all making up and remaining friends. I do hope that the childhood friend in this video finds someone who can truly make her happy, and I hope she can rebuild her reputation and circle of friends again. And I wish the MC and his new girlfriend many years of happiness together.

Undertones. It seems after dating Alyssa started liking the upperclassmen, so she dumped mc. After mc moved it, Alyssa likely caught the uc cheating and wanted mc back to make him jealous, but was rejected. Later, she likely confronted uc and was humiliated and dumped, thus going back to the mc again showing more affection. After that rejection, she lost her friends because not only was she a user, but actively a cheater as well, while the uc was always just playing, so no one found him at fault. If we judge by modern dating standards, my summary would even be worse. He bought a bunch of expensive stuff over just a week. She might have been trying to finesse the uc, and went too far to get nothing but played. By too far, I mean sexually. A hug isn't a kiss, but if she went for a kiss instead, I'd argue she'd already had sex in her finesse attempt. Overall, the gf still hid why the mc was actually dumped. Don't keep those things secret. People need to improve through dark times.

Keigo and Kasumi are such an adorable couple and Keigo choosing her over Alissa was a good choice he made. And I'm glad that they're still friends with Alissa, even after all that happened. That upper classman really messed with her emotions, but thanks to Keigo standing his ground and staying with Kasumi, and Kasumi still being on good terms with her, she finally can be herself again. And Keigo and Kasumi can stay together as the loving couple they are.

Ya know, I can’t help but feel like these characters are inspired upon various characters in the anime industry. I don’t know if it’s just me but I’m getting the feel Keigo and Kasumi are inspired by Yuzuru and Kanada from Angel Beats! I’m not gonna call out the authors for these possibly inspired stories, I genuinely love them. I just want to express my thoughts when I watch these awesome lighthearted stories. Definitely a step back from the intense action anime that I watch. :)

These type of stories are as old as time itself, so, of course this will remind you of that one and that one will remind you of something else, etcetera. What Alissa wanted was to play hard to get, a romance novel like situation where the guy continually pursues the women he love. Her going out with the popular upperclassmen was supposed to be a trigger for Keigo to try and NTR her back. A story like that sounds interesting but this manga is more down to earth, when Keigo was dumped he didn't purse, a more realistic outcome to the situation. Maybe in a different manga but not this one.

Well, this is a stupid game to play. First, she broke his heart and hurt him. What really hurt him was not that she dumped him, but that she never showed any concern or sympathy to him (her childhood "friend") when he was down and obviously depressed. By playing this dumb game, she also gave her competition weapons against herself. Kasumi knew not only that she used him as an ATM machine, but that she was drooling over an upperclassman. In fact, Kasumi was nice enough to only use one of these against her (the materialistic behavior of his ex), in order to not hurt him any more... Play stupid games, win stupid prizes...
