1 cup organic jaggery
1/4 cup water

This homemade mango jam does not contain any preservatives, additives or added colour. This jam will stay good for 4-5 days at room temperature and upto 6 months in the refrigerator.

Nice recipe, will give a try to it as you have added jaggery in it in place of sugar. If possible do share a video on How To Remove Bitterness From ALOEVERA ,so that different dishes can be made from it. Secondly, do share Jam Recipe of ALOEVERA. I am having 3 pots of it, but unable to use because of it's Bitterness. Please help me in utilizing it.

Mam...iam a regular follower of ur videos.I have a doubt..why you always use gingelly oil to grease your cast iron vessels, is there any benifit by using that oil for greasing .. ? Please let me know, I'm thinking of buying gingelly oil specially for greasing my cast iron vessels

Jaggery has dust. After melting with hot water we need to filter before using it

Last week made jam, using raw mangoes. Just steamed it before grinding. Also added bit ghee for additional taste and ease of stirring.

mangoes which doesnt have fibre - if there is fibre the jam will not have a soft creamy texture...

you're right! Thank god, someone's aware. Sugar is the refined and bleached version of jaggery same nutritional values, jaggery may contain a few extra mg of Minerals here and there but that's about it.
