That is horrific but murder of the sister, and the kille sister is two different cases and more than likely have absolutely nothing to do with one another beside family members grieving over a victim im this case. Most of the time killers do have mental problems, like substances abuse, Schizophrenia, bipolar etc.. Also CTE has made people kill others or they commit suicide which CTE is a brain injury football, boxers, mma fighters get after repeated blows to the head. This man killed all 11 no way didn't he desposed of 3 known bodies tied back to him possibly 4 that they know without doubt, but 11 bodies mutilple serial killers dumping bodies in the same grounds close to each other. Highly unlikely I would have a better shot at winning the lottery

The man who wrote the book THE LOST GIRLS noted that most of the victims came from broken, distressed, dysfunctional, drug-problems, you name it. Not that someone from a less difficult background could not get attracted to or more likely roped into that kind of occupation, but these young women coincidentally seemed to have especial vulnerabilities. The family history of Shannon Gilbert (not one of the probable victims in the current charges, at least at this time) was especially fraught, and her sister Sarra already had been noted for mental illness and earlier violent acts.. Sarra was convicted of 2nd degree murder and sentenced to 25 years to life for the horrifying murder of her mother Mari.

All of a sudden a lot of big cases that seemed like they would never get solved are now suddenly getting solved. I almost wonder if new leaps in technology somehow is turning the tide similar to how the advent of DNA technology cleared a ton of cold cases. Personally I gave up hope on LISK so very happy to see some progress. Especially since I’ve lived in the area. But since it took so long for this arrest I’m not going to just assume they got the right guy until all the evidence comes out. This case in particular was always very complicated. It’s important for public safety the cops get the right person...especially with this case

He's 59 years old, lived in that same house his entire life, and was often seen doing woodwork in his garage. Investigators should be thoroughly examining that garage, especially for blood evidence. Some of the older remains found at Gilgo Beach date back to the 90's and early 00's, and some were dismembered and scattered to other areas of Long Island. If he was responsible for those murders as well, there could be traceable remnants of blood in that garage and/or on his woodcutting tools. And being 59, he's old enough to have committed those murders.

LONG police and FBI investigations are right over 99% of the time; especially with the excellent state police involved. It's actually very, very rare that a suspect in a LONG murder case is later exonerated and replaced by a new arrest, usually by being cleared by DNA evidence, but they would have already checked that on him in this case.

Friday July 14th, 2023 was a glorious day that was years in the making. It seemed way overdue to as they say, better late than never. It’s clear that the new political & law enforcement leaders doubled their efforts with this unsolved case & really worked diligently, tirelessly & carefully to bring the killer to justice. I think everyone especially the victim’s families will attest that while the waiting was painful, a thorough investigation devoid of mistakes is a much better outcome than a quick but rushed investigation with errors that could jeopardize the case. Finally these young woman who were taken from their families forever & had their whole lives stolen from them when they were cruelly murdered are going to get their long deserved justice. The victim’s families must be over the moon. I am happy for them. This demon next door who was a devil disguised as a “regular Joe” is the epitome of the banality of evil. He’s truly evil incarnate & the worst kind of psychopath. I don’t think this guy has any normal feelings but has learned to fake things like emotions & being normal. This man went about his life like things were normal despite what should have been a difficult existence due to overwhelming guilt & a conscience that was crushing. Nope apparently this guy had no guilt or conscience showing he is an earthly manifestation of the devil himself. He kept to himself because faking it is exhausting & a facade that can be seen through over time. It’s just a wonder how he has duped his family over the years because he is truly a sick individual who lead a very different lifestyle on the side that took effort to hide & could have easily been discovered with a simple mistake. It doesn’t get any more vile or evil than this guy. At least this guy is finally facing his comeuppance. Now we know this guy cannot hurt another innocent young girl again. RIP to the innocent young ladies who were cruelly murdered at the hands of this cold, callous & patently evil demon walking the earth. Congratulations to the victims families for finally getting a sliver of hope & solace. There is still a ways to go but it looks like the police have been working their butts off on this case & as such have compiled a mountain of damning evidence. So kudos to the police & all involved in this case for their hard work. May this evil scum live an empty existence
