Since the lawyer seems to feel he’s rehabilitated, perhaps he’d like to house him and have him around his most precious family members. I mean, in his view, it’s not like he’s a danger since he’s rehabilitated and “he [Rocky] doesn’t want it to happen again”, right? What could possibly go wrong. 🙄

Except, they do. A bear, for ex, won't even wait for you to die before it starts munching on you - it will break your back/neck and feed on your intestines while you scream. They don't gaf. Sure, there's a reason, but that doesn't make it any less horrendous. Animal/monster = semantics.

37:24 That moment when a NEET realizes there is no respawn for "characters" he killed because this is real life and human lives were lost. I doubt he broke down because he felt sorry for the victims. He cried bc he felt sorry for himself knowing he's going to jail for a long time. What a loser. RIP Dianna and Richard.

What a lovely, loyal and loving group of friends Dianna had. I'm sure her family are just as lovely. We hear less about Richard but it seems he was equally cherished. The man who committed this crime may well have manipulated the person who spent a lot of time with him to think of him as re-habilitated. What were his parents thinking giving him that ridiculous name? Did he feel he had to live up to it or get revenge for being given it? Perhaps he had been bullied because of it. Did he do the horrific act of destruction in the sense of "I'll show you all what Rocky does!" In the end no-one will ever know and it's frustrating. But one thing is sure, if he doesn't ever know why he did it, he will never be released.

I don’t believe for a second that a person capable of such atrociously gruesome & vicious acts can ever be rehabilitated. There’s just something so screwed up in his psyche that went so irreversibly askew somewhere along the way that no amount of therapy or medicine can help him.

There has to be a reason. Perhaps, deep down he always felt an urge to kill another human being which may have led him to play violent games in the first place. He killed people in the games and he wanted to experience that in real life. He would never want his parents to know the reason, if this was the case, and therefore he will never tell.
