Lol, look on the HQ version of this and you'll see us women all in raptures over what a big, hairy hunk of a man he was. I prefer my men smooth but oh boy, we ALL found Michael sexy. Part of it was because you simply never imagined that voice with such a bear (very cuddly one too) of a man.

For the past 39 years I've always mentally pictured the singer of this song (which I didn't mind as a kid) being some clean cut guy with blow wave hair, sweatband on head and dancing around in lycra - that would've been in sync with the Flashdance movie. Instead I find out a "Beary looking" dude sang this? lol.

The late John Gilston is credited with the Simmons programming for this track (played by Carlos Vega on the album?) so Gordon did a good job on the playback. Good to see no cymbals, who needs them when you have an SDS V...

@@hevyonez97 The kids of the 80s were not concerned with the look, clothes and style of the musical artist? Are you kidding? This is the generation that killed the radio star. You mean Madonna was popular because she was a great singer? American Bandstand did not even permit artists to perform, they were forced to lip sync!!!! This fake generation is a direct descendant of the 80s. Where fake reality began..
