You are the first person I’ve seen with hair similar to mine that was successful in using manic panic to color your hair with no bleach/developer!!!! Yay! Can you please try some other manic panic colors on your hair as well? I would love to see if other manic panic colors show up on hair like ours as well!

i tried a color a few yrs ago like electric blue (looks like a royal blue) and it didn't show up at all on my hair. Unfortunately for right now, I wont be experimenting with manic panic colors as I have locs now. But I'm happy you loved the video. it not damaging and they are affordable so its worth the try with no reprocussions.

Love the way this color turned out. I was looking at videos that showed how to get the color i desired which is very similar to this color. I was nervous about trying a bright color but this looks great! I think im going to try this color! Thanks for posting this video!

Thank you . I used that dye over three years ago when i tried to color it purple. It just lightened it. I've grown it out now so i was itching to try a temporary and vibrant color that i was trying for years ago. I just bought a blue one, i hope that would come out purple. (Fingers crossed)

Your hair looks so lovely. I considered buying this when I dyed my hair purple. I got the adore brand and it didn't take to the hair well. I can't believe you left in over night and it still looks good. I never knew you could do that.

ChristineDoesDrama Thank you! I've never heard of adore but then again im not that familiar with hair dyes. And yeah I was reading and watching so many reviews and found that people with thicker healthy hair decided to leave theirs on for an extended amount of time. Risky to try for a first timer but once Mummy said yes its fine, I did it! lol

+Bonnie Adams no not lightened. virgin non altered hair, the sun messes with color in some parts of my hair. Does that make a difference with how the hair takes on color?

michi.is.ninetellz not sure but i dont think so since color like this just sits on the surface of your hair cuticle. But since you mentioned a lavender color Im sure that will only take on very very light colored hair.

not at all. It felt like a deep conditioner to be honest. You supposed to apply to clean dry hair and it felt super moisturizing after rinsing. So you have nothing to worry about. Doesnt alter your hair in any way

did your hair fade completely back to your natural color? this hot pink is amazing on you! i had the same issue with trying to find someone with virgin hair that has used this dye, so i'm ecstatic that you've posted this!

Yes it went back to my natural color after about a month and half. I think because I don't wash my hair every week. So after about 3-4 washes.

I have curly hair that is not in the best shape (due to illness) and using bleach would just make things much worse, I'm sure. the Adore hair color brand leaves the best color on natural hair to me but the clean up is the worse ugg other than that I really wanna try the manic panic but I never see the colors I want in my beauty supply store

It looks pretty i love it but as a person who constantly dyes their hair there is so many hair dyes you can get from the store you mentioned sallys ask the person and they should tell you what hair dyes are good and what arent manic panic is one of the worst hair dyes ive ever used one time it rained really hard where i live and by the time i got picked up i looked like a smurf it was slightly funny but embarrassing and my cloths where ruined haha but if that hair dye works for you more power to ya

N Rage Demi permanent hair dye color jam is good depending on the shade and color the darker the color the better it worked for me but it doesn't wash out as easy as manic panic and it give amazing color and if you ever wanna try bleaching your hair use a color zap or color oops type thing one has no bleach but is for already colored hair the other gives little damage to your hair because it has little bleach in it its really only meant to lighten your hair I hope I could help

+Jasmine Ashley No not at all. It's recommended that you apply the dye on clean, dry hair, with no oils or conditioners. After washing the dye out, it was actually really conditioning like I had just rinsed out my Deep conditioner. I dont think you have anything to worry about since it vegan, but still do a patch test.

Jasmine Ashley yeah I've had natural hair my whole life but spent the last few years properly taking care of it and growing it out. So yeah I was super nervous as I've had bad experiences with permanent dyes. I won't do a update for this particular treatment because it has since washed out. I wash my hair about every 2 - 3 weeks and the color lasted about 3 months. I have a deep blue one i just got that I hope will turn out more purple on my hair. I will try it in the new year and will keep you all updated on that one for sure.
