Thanks for this video. learned at least a couple of new things. Your videos are simple to follow. That long tube that you cut the end off, to place that end piece to allow air to come out easier. Not sure what you called it, but will watch again.

Love your videos!!! But with that being so old and needing all those parts and o-rings replaced would it not be just as cost effective to replace the whole unit with a more modern one?

Thanks for the compliment! A new filter can cost up to $1,200.00. The materials for this repair cost around $150.00. Most filter bodies can last twenty years. Cartridges can last up to five years if cleaned on a regular basis, every three to four months. And, keeping cartridges clean can prevent a manifold from cracking. Hope I answered your question. Lucy
