This is all worth the wait. Boeing should make an offer to display this at HQ as an ode to engineering patience, perseverance and discipline. I'll be subscribed as long as it takes to complete this unique work of manila-art

I'm a very happy man right now, I'm not sure if you've been working on similar projects these past 4 years but hopefully you haven't lost any of those amazing skills, although judging by what we see here you definitely haven't. I do amateur paper crafting and you've motivated me to get back on a project I've held off for the past few months. Good luck bro 👍

Tell me this guy is an engineer, designer, architect, or something ? I mean you just don’t make beautifully accurate models like this without having mechanical engineering aptitude. I mean building the jig is just as impressive.

Thank you! I took an architecture class in high school which is where I learned some of these techniques. But alas I'm a UX designer these days for my full-time job.

How do you find the correct measurements? I want to make a mirage 2000 just like your b777 model
@lucaiaconistewart2 жыл бұрын
I've been able to reference some technical documents I've found, but for the most part it's mostly guesswork when it comes to the details. That's partly why it's so difficult and time consuming to come up with the designs.

Anywhere you get office supplies, really. If you're curious about the specific types I use: This is the regular thickness: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002IXM3AW/ And this is the "double" thickness/for stronger structural parts: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013CME9E/
